Vodafone Idea Launches Rs. 219, Rs. 449 Prepaid Plans With Unlimited Voice Calls, Up to 2GB Daily Data Benefits

Vodafone Idea has, following in the footsteps of Bharti Airtel, brought two new unlimited prepaid plans. These new prepaid recharge plans, available at denominations of Rs. 219 and Rs. 449, are designed to offer unlimited voice calls and up to 2GB of daily high-speed data access for as many as 56 days. The telco also offers 100 SMS messages per day through both new prepaid plans. Late last week, Airtel expanded its portfolio of prepaid plans by adding the Rs. 219, Rs. 399, and Rs. 449 prepaid plans. Airtel and Vodafone Idea also recently lifted the fair usage policy (FUP) limit on voice calls for all of their unlimited prepaid plans. The new developments came as the follow-up of the recently revised tariffs by both operators to meet the ongoing challenges. Realme Buds Air Will Be the Name of Realme’s Truly Wireless Earbuds, Support for Google Assistant Teased

Realme started teasing the launch of new wireless earbuds a few days ago, and now the company has confirmed that the earbuds will be called Realme Buds Air. Realme CEO Madhav Sheth on Monday revealed the branding of the Realme Buds Air. He also reiterated the December 17 launch date for the earbuds. The new wireless earbuds looks strikingly similar to the AirPods from Apple, right down to the case. The company has listed the new earbuds on the company website as well. Sheth took to Twitter to announce the launch date and the name of the wireless earbuds teased recently. The upcoming wireless earbuds will be called Realme Buds Air and they will launch in India on December 17 at 12.30pm IST. The earbuds will arrive in three colour options – White, Yellow, and Black. Netflix Is Spending Rs. 3,000 Crores on Indian Content, CEO Reed Hastings Says

Netflix is ploughing Rs. 3,000 crores ($420 million) this year and next to produce more local content in India, one of the biggest and most-crowded markets for the world's largest paid streaming-service provider. "You'll start to see a lot of stuff hit the screen, big investment," Chief Executive Officer Reed Hastings said at an event in New Delhi on Friday. “We're really trying to invest in that becoming more Indian in the content offering.” The Los Gatos, California-based company is jostling with other giants such as Walt Disney-owned Hotstar and Amazon Prime Video for a slice of the growing market as more Indians use smartphones to view videos. The companies are offering relatively cheaper packages to lure paying subscribers in a country used to free YouTube offerings.
